Summary: They hope for happy ending but can they stand when something bad happen that want to separate them?

Karina work really hard for few days as there will be a fashion show for her grandma’s brand. She needs to make sure all models fit all the clothes which make her always stay back at boutique. On day, while she want to lock the door, an intruder sneak into the boutique and Karina tries her best to protect the place but she get shot from the person.
The last thing that Karina does is reach her phone and dial Keito’s phone number before her sight turn black pitch. The bleeding wound didn’t stop but luckily Keito arrive at right time. He feels weird when get her phone call without she say anything.

“What happen?” ask Naomi when she arrives at hospital with everyone. They really surprise to hear news from Keito.
“I don’t know what happen. I went to the place and saw her lying on the floor. I already inform the police and they in middle of investigate about what happen.” say Keito. He can’t say anymore as he really worries about what will happen to Karina.
The doctor leaves the place after several hours and inform, “I already try my best to save her and it works but we can’t guarantee what will happen next. Her wound too deep and she loss too many blood.”
They go visit Karina in the room and see that girl still in deep sleep. They could see Karina’s calm expression even she just gone through worse tragedy. She stays in comatose state for several days but Keito always come to visit her.
Mrs. Kuzuryu says, “Keito-kun, you need rest once in awhile. I will help you to take care of Karina-chan.”
“It’s okay; I can take care of her. I don’t need any rest because I want to be here when Karina gain conscious.” Say Keito. Mrs. Kuzuryu could see Keito actually tired in his eyes but he covers it with his smile.
Mr. Kuzuryu go to meet the doctor and knows that Karina may not have any chance to live longer because the shoot damage some of important organs. He really surprise to know that his daughter may not live longer.
He discusses with Seishirou about Karina’s condition and Karina’s biological father really surprise with it. Seishirou can’t sleep on that night because he worries about his daughter’s life. His wife, Hina asks, “Is there anything happen with your daughter?”
Seishirou really surprise with the question. He knows Hina knows about Karina because they had met for few times before. He only says, “Karina get shoot from someone who sneak into her boutique and she get shoot. Her condition stable but still in coma.”
“We should visit her.” Say Hina and Seishirou say that they will go visit her on the next day. Seishirou get feeling that he will lose Karina; same like he lose Aria before this.

Seishirou arrive at the room with his wife while bring flower for his daughter. He only notices Mrs. Kuzuryu in that room and asks, “Where is Keito-kun?”
“He’s at his company right now but will come here after his work done. I really worry about him as he forces himself to take care of Karina-chan.” Say Mrs. Kuzuryu.
“Hard to believe as his company really busy with many projects. When I meet him, he doesn’t say anything about Karina’s condition.” Say Seishirou.
“Maybe he doesn’t want you to worry about your daughter.” Say Hina. They spend time at there for awhile but Seishirou can’t hide his worries if he will lose Karina.
After Mrs. Kuzuryu leaves the room because she has something to manage at that moment, Seishirou still stay in that room with Hina and Keito arrive there. Keito really surprise to see Seishirou at that place. He asks, “How you know about it?”
“I know from Kenzo. He told me about her.” Say Seishirou.
“Gomen for hide it from you.” Say Keito as he bows to Seishirou. He feels really guilty because hide what happen on Karina.
Seishirou pull Keito to stand straight again and says, “It’s okay; I could understand why you hide it from me.”
Suddenly, Hina who notice changes on Karina, says, “She’s moving... I will go to call doctor.” Hina rushes to go out from the room to call the doctor while Keito and Seishirou get near to the bed to check on Karina.

Karina can’t move around as the wound still hurt and depend with the wheelchair. Keito pushes her wheelchair around the garden while says, “When you get discharge from hospital, I will bring you to anywhere you want to go.”
“If like that, I want to go to amusement park. I really miss to go there with everyone.” say Karina.
“I will bring you there with condition you focus on your treatment.” Say Keito.
“But I don’t know if I can live long enough to enjoy the day.” Karina tells her worries. She already knows her condition that can’t stand longer. Her body is shaking when remember the fact that she will died soon.
Keito kneel in front of her and says while holding her hands, “I will always at your side and ask them to prepare the best treatment for you.” Keito knows Karina disturb with that fact and make her become quite person.
“Ne, Keito-kun, promise me something.” Keito looks into Karina’s eyes, “Promise me that you will find you happiness with someone no matter what happen to me.”
“Why you say like that?” ask Keito. Karina touch his face while says, “I really happy to meet you and spend time with you. Because of you, I can go through many challenges until today and it feel like a dream to have happy life together with you.”
“Karina-chan, you don’t have to say like that. Believe me that you will fully recover and have life like before this again.” Say Keito. Karina cries in silent as she knows there are many things that she wants to do before leave the world.

Karina’s words stuck in Keito’s mind all the time. He can’t focus to do anything that he needs to do because of his lover’s words. He also can’t come to visit Karina at hospital as works at the company suddenly pile up without he realizes it.
Karina could understand why Keito really confuse with her own words. She only stares outside the window and a little boy, Seiji run into the room before asks, “Nee-chan, why you really down today? I always saw you that always full with smile.”
“I’m just worry about my boyfriend. I don’t think he can accept the fact I can’t live longer.” Say Karina.
“Nee-chan, do you want to go outside today? I can push your wheelchair today and I want to show you something.” Say Seiji. He pushes the wheelchair to Karina’s bed for her to get on. Seiji has small body build but he can push the wheelchair easily as they greet everyone that they meet.
“Seiji-kun, what do you want for today?” ask the cafeteria girl, Mirai.
“I just want to show Karina-nee to this place. She feels down today and I want you to cheer her up.” say Seiji. Karina notices something among the things that cafeteria sell and asks, “Do you make this by yourself?”
“How you could guess these dolls make by me?” ask Mirai.
“You name the doll Mi and you take it from your name. I just make guess as your name tag also has tiny cute doll attach on it.” say Karina. Mirai smile to see it and Karina find things that she wants before load it into a basket.
“Seiji-kun said that you always smile and what make you don’t smile today?” ask Mirai.
“I’m just worry about my lover. When I told him that I can’t live longer, he seem lose his soul and don’t want to come here anymore. I worry about him as I know he could easily affect with what happen.” say Karina. She curious about something, “I wonder how Seiji-kun could be always happy even he stays in this hospital longer than me.”
“His smile only covers his sadness.” Say Mirai before she continues, “He comes from orphanage. He always wants affection from someone that he can call as his family but it’s not his lucky to get it. That’s why he always smiles to cover everything.” Karina looks down and tries to hold herself not to cry as she doesn’t want to burden anyone.
Mirai hold Karina’s shoulder to comfort her while says something to calm her down. Seiji notices it and asks, “Is Mirai-nee bully you?”
“I’m not bullying her.” Say Mirai and it receive laugh from Karina. She feel relieve to meet the person who could light back her smile. After that, she goes to an area to make phone call to Keito but it only reach his voice mail.
Then, she decides to leave voice message, ‘Hi, Keito-kun. Are you doing well these days? I know you still shock with what happen but what I hope, you will meet person who can make you happy.’

Keito get the voice message but there’s nothing he could do. He hang-out with his friends and Ryosuke says, “Keito, what to know something? What happen to Karina is actually can be cure and you can do it at hospital at USA.”
Keito quickly says, “Really?! Which hospital is it? I want to have my life with Karina-chan like what we dream.”
After Keito get full details about it, he rushes to meet Karina. He gets into the room but no sign of Karina and he begins worry about his lover. He want to begin search for her but Karina appears and asks, “Keito-kun, why you’re here?”
“Of course I’m here to meet you. Where have you been?” ask Keito.
Karina shows the plastic bag and says, “I bought my favourite breads as I suddenly feel hungry. It just lucky Mirai-san keep it for me.”
“Karina-chan, I have good news. We can continue our dream because there is a hospital that could cure you.” Say Keito. He tells everything to her and it makes Karina jump to hug him. Keito tell her that he will do anything for his lover as long he can spend his time with Karina.

“I just get feeling I make worst decision. I should take over my papa’s company a bit late and I can accompany you.” Say Keito when they at airport. Mrs. Kuzuryu and Hina will accompany Karina to NY City in place of Keito as he has work to do.
“You can come to visit me when you have time.” Say Karina. Keito give something to Karina and says, “This is for you to avoid you miss me when I’m not around.”
Karina smiles and says, “I don’t think I will be the one who miss other person first. I’m a strong-hearted person and not like that person.”
Keito watches Karina leave the place and hope that he will spend time with Karina like what they use to do before this. He admit he really want to meet Karina while make his work but he will read mails from Karina to overcome it. Karina only smile when do her treatment as she never think that she still have chance to live longer.

On the last day Karina at the hospital, Keito take leave just to help her to get discharge. Karina asks, “It is okay for you to suddenly leave just to take me back to Japan?”
“Yes, it also to give time for Hina and your mom to relax at Japan and I can spend time with you.” Say Keito. They already plan to stay at NY City for several days before return to Japan. They get on cab and go straight to their hotel as Keito want her to relax on that day.
“So, you will continue working at that boutique or you have other plan?” ask Keito.
“My grandma said that I don’t have to work anymore and none of my family would let me work after what happen.” say Karina. She looks to the outside the window and try to think what she will do after she return to Japan.
Keito thinks for awhile and says, “I have an idea that no one would object but it will require you to make some changes.”
“What is it?” Karina curious to know and he say, “You need to make changes on your last name as you will become my wife.” Keito take out velvet box and propose his lover which make Karina really happy to accept it.

“Why it so fast between both of you? You just recover your health and you have to make preparation for your marriage.” Say Yura when the girls spend time at cafe.
“I don’t know what to say as everything just too fast for me to digest everything.” Say Karina. She feels really bred as she can’t do anything but sometimes, she will check things at the boutique.
After spend time at cafe, Karina drives her car to a hospital to meet someone and she even prepares gifts. She always in contact with Seiji as she really loves his happy character. She meet him and he says, “Karina-nee, why you’re here? You already recover, right?”
“Yeah, and I’m here to meet you. This is for you; I bought it when I’m at NY. They said boys like you really love this.” Say Karina as she gives the gift to Seiji.
“Arigatou, nee-chan.” Say Seiji happily. Both of them spend time together by doing many things as Karina already thinks the little boy as her younger brother. They meet Mirai and Seiji says, “Look this, Karina-nee bought it for me when she’s at NY.”
“I also bought something for Mirai and everyone.” say Karina.
“You don’t have to do this.” Say Mirai and Karina says it just small things that she make for them.

Keito finishes his meeting with his client and his PA meets him to tell, “Sir, you will have dinner with Mr. Kawaguchi tonight at Storm Restaurant.”
“Oh, thanks for remind me about it. I almost forget and does my fiancée join the dinner?” ask Keito and his PA only nods to answer it.
He makes phone call to Karina to ask about it and Karina says that she will meet him at the restaurant because she will go straight from hospital. Keito ask why she suddenly goes there and the girl reply, “I’m here to visit someone. Don’t worry; I already recover and it all because of you.”
Karina feels really happy as she gets chance to do many things that she want to do. She still could continue her dream with Keito and take Seiji as their son after they become husband and wife. Seiji feels awkward to call them with mama and papa but Keito says, “It’s okay, Seiji. You can call us with our names until you’re ready to call us as mama and papa.”
“Arigatou for make my wish come true... mama.... papa.” Say Seiji. He will do an operation to cure his diseases soon. Karina hugs Seiji, “It was me who should thank you because you make me smile again. You grant my wish to smile again and this time, we want to make your wish come true.”
“If you want anything, just tell your mama as she more reliable than me.” Say Keito and Seiji ask, “How about papa?”
“Your papa actually really easy to bully and broke apart. My hope only one, don’t become like you papa.” Say Karina.
Seiji laugh with it and asks, “What does it mean by that, huh?” they face their day with smile and hope they could continue their dream until they achieve everything that they want. The couple welcome new members in the family and have wonderful life. When face hard time, Karina will says, “Isn’t wrong to have a dream when having hard time, it will give us more power to face them.”
