Maybe just a dream (Chapter 8)

Summary: Karina thinks what happen in that night just a dream but what will happen it is actually the truth?

Karina takes her seat and eats her dinner without want to saying anything to her parent. Mrs. Kuzuryu notices it but she knows her daughter would never want to say a word at that time. Karina finishes her dinner and says, “Goshiosama.”
When Karina disappears from their eyes, Mr. Kuzuryu asks, “Is something happen at school?”
“I don’t know. Today, she suddenly calls Nishi to fetch her to go back home and lock herself inside the room. Even I knock the door; she doesn’t want to open it.” Mrs. Kuzuryu sounds her worries. Karina never behaves like that before.

Karina switch on the music player and speaker before lay on her bed. She doesn’t know what she should do at that moment. When she knows Keito will leave Japan, her mind become blank and she doesn’t know what she should do.
At the same moment, Keito drives around and stop his car at the side of bridge. He gets off from the car and stares at night sky while try to think something. He wants to tell everything about his feeling to Karina but it seems nothing goes in his way. He shout, “AH, What should I do right now?!”
He looks at his phone wallpaper; his pictures with Karina during they go out with his mom. His mom really wants to take picture of him and Karina that make result of that picture. He doesn’t hate the picture and make him use the pic as wallpaper.
Suddenly, his phone ringing and he quickly answer it, “Hello.”
“Hello, Keito-kun. Does Karina-chan call you or meet you?” ask Mrs. Kuzuryu.
“No, I thought she want to rest at house as she said that she really tired today. Is there anything happen to her?” Say Keito as he remembers Karina’s face at that time. He begins feels uneasy when Mrs. Kuzuryu asks him about Karina.
“We really worry about her and now, Karina-chan run away from home.” say Mrs. Kuzuryu.
“Don’t you think she go to meet Mr. Kawaguchi?” ask Keito as he thinks it the only way Karina may do if she run away from house.
“We already call him and Karina-chan doesn’t contact him. That’s why we really worry about her. She may get sick if she stays outside too long.” Say Mrs. Kuzuryu.

After the phone call end, Keito gets idea where Karina will be. He drives his car to highway and goes to Osaka. Only one place that Karina will go at that moment and he remember it clearly what is the place.
He arrives at a graveyard and quickly goes to his destination. He feels relieve that Karina is at her biological mother’s grave and she in deep sleep in cold condition. Keito put his hand on her body and feel really hot. He slowly lift Karina in order not to wake her up into his car before go to hospital.
The doctor says, “You’re lucky because bring here early. Her body really weak and high fever could damage her body.”
Then, Keito get into ward room and look at Karina who in calm, deep sleeps. He wants to contact Mr. Kuzuryu but he thinks to do it later as he can’t leave her alone. The only thing that he want at that time is Karina is safe and she would never think to do weird things when wake up.

Karina slowly opens her eyes and scent like she’s at a hospital. She looks around and notices Keito at her side, sleeping as he really tired. She remembers that she at Aria’s grave before she loses her conscious. She realizes an IV connects to her arm.
“What happen to me?” ask Karina.
A nurse gets into the room and says, “You have high fever and he brought you here. If not, you may have faced deadly problems right now.”
“Can I ask something from you?” ask Karina.
“What is it?” ask the nurse and Karina tells her what she want as she thinks Keito hasn’t done it yet. The nurse just agrees with what she wants and says she will do it right away.
Karina take a good look on Keito who asleep and can’t help herself to touch Keito’s hair. Keito wakes up because of Karina’s touch and says, “Ah, you already wake up. Do you need anything?”
“It’s okay, Keito-kun. You seem really tired right now. You should rest more.” Say Karina.
“Hey, that’s my words to sick people! How you feel now?” say Keito.
“Much better.” Say Karina. After several hours, Mr. Kuzuryu and Mrs. Kuzuryu arrive at hospital. Mrs. Kuzuryu almost cries when she see Karina in front of her eyes and quickly hugs Karina. Karina says, “Mama, papa, I’m okay.”
“What do you mean by your okay? You in hospital right now.” Say Mrs. Kuzuryu.
“Seishirou almost lose his mind when heard that you run away from house.” say Mr. Kuzuryu.
“Gomen, I’m not running away from house. I just want to tell okasan about my life before I do something but it seems I really tired and fall asleep at okasan’s grave.” Say Karina.
“You always make us worry.” Say Mr. Kuzuryu.
“Maa, let’s forget about it. For now, she needs to focus on recovery before anything.” Say Mrs. Kuzuryu.
“I will get discharge from here tomorrow.” Say Karina. Others just laugh with Karina’s action as it looks like little kids who get things that she like.

After several days, Karina gets discharge from hospital and goes to airport to send Keito. Keito wants her to stay at house and get some rest but she doesn’t want to listen to him. She gives excuses, “I already recover and I want to send you to airport.”
“Make sure after this you will go straight home and rest. You must don’t want to absent from school festival soon.” Say Keito.
“Okay, if you say like that.” say Karina.
“Before I get into flight, I want to say something to you.” Say Keito.
“What is it?” ask Karina. Keito pulls her to get close and whisper, “I love you and if destiny allows us to be together, I want to couple with you.”
Karina really surprise with his words and can’t say anything to reply. Keito notice that and says, “I will wait for the answer when I come back here. Take care of yourself and always miss me, okay?” Keito leaves Karina in confusion and go to his flight while Karina still think what she should do at that time.

Karina really surprise with his words and can’t say anything to reply. Keito notice that and says, “I will wait for the answer when I come back here. Take care of yourself and always miss me, okay?” Keito leaves Karina in confusion and go to his flight while Karina still think what she should do at that time.
