Brand new love

Pairing: Yamada Ryosuke X Rin Walker
Type: One-shot
Summary: Rin lose all her memories including the moment with her lover, Ryosuke. Could she remember it or create new one?

                Rin opens her eyes and look around her. She could see pairs of worried eyes on her but something disturb her as soon she wake up, “Who are you guys?”

                “Rin-chan, you don’t remember us? We’re your friends and this is your boyfriend.” Say one of them while pointing to a guy who sits next to her bed.

                “My boyfriend?” Rin’s words shock everyone in that room.

                “Could everyone leave this room for awhile? We need to do several checks on her.” Say the doctor and everyone just leave the room.

                “Why she forget about me? Am I did something to her?” ask Ryosuke.

                His twin, Karina just pats his back and says, “We could only wait explanation from the doctor about what happen.”

                Ryosuke could stay quite at that time. He really worries about his girlfriend. He could remember how she suddenly faint after scream in pain at that time. Yuto just grab his shoulder and tell him to stay calm even for seconds.

                After several minutes, the doctor leaves the room and tells Ryosuke to go to his room as Rin’s parent still at outside Japan. Ryosuke pulls his twin’s hand and ask her to tag along as he knows Karina would understand the doctor’s words better than him.

                “I hope you remember that I told about she has possibility of Dissociative Amnesia?” ask the doctor.

                “Yeah, it about the person chooses to forget selective memories and it caused by stress.” Say Karina as she still remembers about it.

                “What is relation about that thing with Rin-chan?” ask Ryosuke.

                “That’s what she faces right now. Make sure you don’t force her to remember anything for awhile or she will experience nausea or headaches.” Say the doctor and Ryosuke already crying inside his heart.

                “Could she remember it back?” ask Ryosuke.

                “It depends on her but the possibility to get it almost zero.” Say the doctor.

                “Doctor, I want to ask something. Is there any damage with her brain?” say Karina.

                “We will do MRi tests after this to make sure about it. Could you tell her guidance about the tests?” say the doctor.

                “She already reaches legal age and her parent said that she could do whatever that she want. So, I think you should just continue doing it and about the price, I willing to pay whatever is it.” Say Ryosuke.

                “We will try our best to do it.” Say the doctor.

                Ryosuke just walk aimlessly at the street. He doesn’t even care if anyone takes his picture. What he wants is his beloved girl gets back her memory. He still remembers the doctor’s words about Rin’s condition.

                “We’re your friend for ages. We are close together because we go to same school and always spend time at rooftop with the boys.” Say Naomi.

                “Gomen, I can’t remember anything.” Say Rin.

                “It’s okay. Don’t work too hard to remember anything for awhile. Just rest and recover yourself.” Say Karina. She pushes slowly Rin’s body back to hospital bed before fix the blanket.

                “Ne, Rin-chan. You want anything when I come to visit you next time?” Say Yukiko.

                “I don’t want I want.” Say Rin.

                “I will bring your favourite cake. I excuse myself first.” Say Yukiko. She leaves the room as she needs to go for her part-time job.

                “Ah, I need to go for my cram school.” Say Ayumi. Naomi offer to send Ayumi and it left Karina with Rin.

                “You’re Karina-chan, right?” ask Rin.

                “Yes, is there you want to know?” ask Karina as she takes seat near to Rin’s bed.

                “Earlier, they said that I have a boyfriend. Who is my boyfriend?” say Rin.

                Karina take out her phone and it seem doing something on it before show it to Rin. She says, “This is my twin, Ryosuke and you already couple with him for almost 2 years.”

                “Why I didn’t remember about it?” ask Rin and suddenly she feel her head in pain.

                “Rin-chan, its okay if you don’t remember it but just do it at your pace.” Say Karina. After several minutes, Rin fall asleep because really tired to accept what happen on that day. Karina just decides to stay at there and take care of Rin.

                “She already asleep?” asks Keito who just arrive with Yuto and Chinen.

                “Yeah, it must really hard for Ryosuke to accept what happen. Does anyone contact him?” say Karina.

                “I tried to call him but he doesn’t want to answer it.” Say Yuto.

                “I need you guys’ help to look after Ryosuke. I don’t think he can’t act rationally for awhile. At least, until Rin-chan leave the hospital.” Say Karina.

                Ryosuke just lock himself in his room and doesn’t want to leave his room even for awhile. They already do many things to lure him to leave the room but nothing happen. Karina already at her limit, knock the door with all strength while saying, “Ryo-baka, you should leave your room right now! It’s not time for you to sulking like little girl in your room!”

                “Karina, I know you angry with him but that will not make him leave his room.” Say their older sister, Chiharu.

                “Like I care! I never know someone name Yamada Ryosuke who is naturally BORNED as BOY already turns to A GIRL!” say Karina. Mr. Yamada and Mrs. Yamada who hear it from living room just decide to ignore it as they know Karina already piss off with what happen.

                “Should we do something with Karina?” ask Mrs. Yamada.

                “Just let her to do it. At least, maybe Ryosuke will leave his room.” Say Mr. Yamada.

                Ryosuke only leave his room after several days as he still need to go to school. He joins others at dining table and takes his breakfast. Mrs. Yamada says, “This is your bento. Do you have soccer practice today?”

                “I don’t know about it yet but I will reach home late. I’m done.” Say Ryosuke. He leaves the table and wears his shoes before leave the house.

                “Karina, could you help me to look after your twin?” ask Mrs. Yamada.

                “Don’t worry, I will help you. Ah, he already leaves.” Say Karina. She just runs to leave the house and join Ryosuke to go school. Karina tries to talk with Ryosuke but he just ignores it until Karina says, “Today, Rin-chan will come back to school.”

                “What does it mean by telling me that?” ask Ryosuke and he receive punch from Karina. “Itai yo!”

                “Don’t ever give up because of that silly damn thing. It’s not like you who always want to win no matter how small is it!” shout Karina.

                “That punch really hurt me. But why should I do?” ask Ryosuke.

                Karina points her finger to her head and say, “You should use what you have in here to think about it.”

                Rin walk into school compound with mixed feeling; happy to go back to school but in same time, scared with everyone. Ayumi already wait for her at locker hall and greet her, “Ohayou, Rin-chan.”

                “Ohayou, Ayumi-chan.” Say Rin as she smiles to see Ayumi.

                Ayumi show her locker and says, “This is your locker and you should change your shoe before we get into the class.”

                “Oh... okay.” Say Rin.

                When both of the almost get into their class, they hear conversation from 2-4, “I never know that girl has such a strong punch.”

                “It was you who taught her that.” Say Yuto.

                “Ryosuke-kun, this is love letter for you.” Say Mari.

                “Why you suddenly give love letter to him when you know that he has lover?” ask Yuto.

                “But your girlfriend doesn’t remember you, right? You better forget her and be with me who always love you.” Say Mari.

                Ryosuke get near to Mari and says, “Even she never knows who I am, I will always there for her. You say that you love me, right?”

                “Yes.” Answer Mari and Ryosuke say, “Then, you should support me to help her remember me back not make me forget her.”

                Rin see everything; suddenly feel something weird in her heart. She can’t describe it by words and just get into her class, 1-1. She asks Ayumi, “Why I feel something different with I saw just now? And why he keeps getting into my mind?”

                “Maybe you always with him before this.” Say Ayumi.

                “If you can’t help her to remember who you are in her life, what about you create new one with her?” ask Keito.

                “Wah, Keito. You could think like that at time like this.” Say Yuto.

                “I just remember someone’s words about it. If I’m not mistaken, Karina to her friends.” Say Keito.

                “Create new one with her...” say Ryosuke as he begins plans something in his mind.

                After school, Ryosuke just go to the girl’s club room and asks, “Can I meet Rin for awhile?”

                “Yes, of course. We just end our meeting.” Say Yukiko.

                “Why you want to meet me?” ask Rin.

                “Are you free this weekend?” ask Ryosuke.

                “I think I’m free.” Say Rin.

                “Let’s go out and having fun on that day.” Say Ryosuke.

                “EH?! It is okay to go out with me?” ask Rin and Ryosuke just nods with it. Rin try to think for several seconds before agree with it.

                “Okay, I will fetch you at your house on that time.” Say Ryosuke before go back to field.

                Rin get into the room and she could see everyone eavesdrop her conversation with Ryosuke. Naomi says, “It seems someone will go out for date.”

                “Where he wants to bring you?” ask Ayumi.

                “He doesn’t say anything. He only say that he want to bring me out to have fun.” Say Rin.

                “Just like what he did before this.” Say Karina.

                “Karina-chan, did you say something?” ask Naomi.

                “No, I just try to remember what we discuss as I need to make report for it.” Say Karina as she typing something on computer before prints it as she lazy to write the report.

                A day before the date, the girls decide to sleep over at Rin’s house in order to help her to choose suitable clothes for the date. They keep argue to choose which clothes suitable for Rin.

                “She should wear think dress.” Say Ayumi as she pulls light-pink dress.

                “No, I think she should wear this shirt with pencil skirt.” Say Yukiko.

                “He may bring her to amusement park. So, she should wear pants with mini-dress.” Say Naomi.

                “You guys really work out ne for her.” Say Karina while yawning.

                “What do you think, Karina-chan? Which one Rin-chan should wear tomorrow to go out with Ryosuke?” Say Yukiko.

                “Why don’t you ask her about it? It is her who wants to go for date not me.” Say Karina. She just lay on the sofa before falls asleep.

                “I will choose the clothes by myself.” Say Rin.

                “Tell us which one you want to wear and we will help to improve it.” Say Yukiko. The talk about clothes continues for several hours until they found the perfect clothes.

                Ryosuke walks to Rin’s house to fetch her before go out. He really nervous with it as he already planned to make the date look like the first time he goes out with her before this. He rings the bell and someone open the door.

                “Oh, you already here, Ryosuke.” Say Karina who get out from the house.

                “Where is Rin-chan?” ask Ryosuke as he a bit disappointed to see who open the door earlier.

                “She will go out in any seconds. Maa, good luck for it ne.” Say Karina as she pats Ryosuke’s shoulder.

                “Where are you going?” ask Ryosuke. He realise Karina doesn’t have intention to get back inside the house.

                “Oh, I’m going to stalk someone. Wanna join?” ask Karina. She just leaves without even waiting answer from Ryosuke.

                “Gomen for make you waiting.” Say Rin as she gets near to Ryosuke.

                “It’s okay. You look really beautiful today.” Say Ryosuke and Rin blush to hear it. Both of them go to amusement park and enjoy their moment at there.

                After that, Ryosuke bring her to a cafe to relax for awhile after tired playing. Ryosuke says, “You order for both of us.”

                “EH?! Me? I don’t know what I should order for us.” Say Rin while look at the menu.

                “Can I take your order?” ask the waiter.

                “Hm... two cup of iced coffee and...” Rin doesn’t know which menu she should order.

                “Miss, can I recommend you to our special strawberry cake? It really delicious and popular.” Say the waiter and Ryosuke realise it is his twin who disguise as waiter.

                “Okay, we will order that. That’s all.” Say Rin. The waiter just left the table after slightly nods.

                “You must strawberry lover, ne.” Say Rin.

                “How you know?” ask Ryosuke.

                “I heard this cafe really popular among the strawberry lover. I never know someone like you really like strawberry.” Say Rin.

                “Hey, I’m certified strawberry lover.” Say Ryosuke proudly. Rin just giggles with it.

                “So, how your date go?” ask Yuto.

                “Well, she never forces me to ride jet coaster before this but she did that.” Say Ryosuke.

                “You ride it?” ask Keito.

                “I have no choice.” Say Ryosuke.

                “Your face really priceless at that time.” Say Karina while chuckles.

                “You follow them?” ask Yuto.

                “Yeah, both of us go stalk them. I already tell you guys about it but you just ignore it.” Say Chinen.

                “Then, how you could become waiter at that cafe?” ask Ryosuke.

                “My friend work at there and I just say that I want try out the work.” Say Karina.

                “So, is everything according to what you planned?” ask Yuto.

                “Not really but the history just repeat itself.” Say Ryosuke.

                Even Rin can’t remember anything back but she begin close with Ryosuke and always spend time together. What left to make it normal again; Ryosuke love confession towards Rin. Everyone keeps asking when he will confess to her but he keeps saying the time is not suitable for him to do it.

                “Ryosuke, why people keep asking about my relationship with you?” ask Rin when both of them go out for date.

                “I can only say we has been in relationship before this but I want you to focus on your treatment until you fully recover.” Say Ryosuke.

                “Whoever become your girlfriend must be the luckiest girl in the world because you really kind.” Say Rin.

                “Yeah but my heart only for a special girl.” Say Ryosuke.

                “I wonder who the lucky girl is.” Say Rin.

                “The lucky girl in front of me.” Say Ryosuke in his mind. He wants to say it but he doesn’t want Rin work too hard to remember it.

                One day, Rin’s parent suddenly comes to visit them with their own agenda; they want to bring Rin to live together with them. Ryosuke strongly oppose the idea and says, “She already happy to live at here with all of us.”

                “We want to bring her back as we don’t want her to become like that again.” Say Mr. Walker.

                “Mama, papa, where are you when I was in the hospital?” ask Rin.

                “Both of us are busy with our work at there. That’s why we only reach here today.” Say Mrs. Walker.

                “I don’t want to go back with you guys.” Say Rin before run away from that place. Ryosuke want to chase her but she already disappears from his sight.

                “I need help from you guys. Rin-chan just run away from house and it already night time. I want you guys to find her as soon as possible.” Say Ryosuke.

                “Is she bring hand phone with her?” ask Karina.

                “Maybe she bring it.” Say Ryosuke.

                “I will try searching for her using GPS and I will tell when I get her location.” Say Karina.

                “We will try to find her at any possible place.” Say Yuto.

                All of them go out to begin their search for Rin. Ryosuke can’t stay calm and keep shouting Rin’s name. Suddenly, he receives mail from Karina about Rin’s location; under the bridge not far from their school.

                “Rin-chan, you shouldn’t be at here at time like this.” Say Ryosuke after he found Rin.

                “Ryosuke-kun, how you manage to find me at here?” ask Rin.

                “Well, I use some help to find you. You know you shouldn’t run away from them.” Say Ryosuke. He takes off his jacket and put it on Rin to avoid she fell cold.

                “I know but I want to stay here.” Say Rin.

                “You should make them confident that you are okay to stay at here. You already lucky as it were me who found you here.” Say Ryosuke.

                “Why you say like that?” ask Rin.

                “If Karina found you, she may beat you. Just like what she did on me before this; she punched me because I feel down. For now, let’s just go back and talk with your parent. We also could ask help from our friends.” Say Ryosuke.

                “She already big enough to think what she should do or not. It was you guys who want she is independent and now, you want to bring her there.” Say Karina while others get ready to do something when she lost control.

                “We just worry about her.” Say Mr. Walker.

                “Then, you guys should left you work and rush to see her on the day she’s in the hospital.” Say Karina.

                “Papa, mama, just believe me that I could stay at here. I have supportive friends at here that always ready to help me.” Say Rin.

                “Okay, I will give a month for you to prove it that you really want to stay here.” Say Mr. Walker.

                During a month-period, Ryosuke always help Rin to prove herself to her parent. After the time-period end, Ryosuke accompany Rin to send her parent to airport. Rin says, “I will go visit you guys when I’m free.”

                “Ryosuke, please help us to look after our Rin.” Say Mr. Walker and Ryosuke just nod his head.

                After send them, Ryosuke says, “I think it is suitable time for me to say this.”

                “Say what?” Rin a bit surprise with it.

                “I want to be back in relationship with you. I love you wand I don’t want to lose you no matter what happen.” Say Ryosuke.

                “What do you mean by ‘back’?” ask Rin.

                “You already forget about our relationship but it doesn’t mean I can’t start brand new love with you. Would you be my precious girlfriend?” Say Ryosuke.

                “Even I still can’t understand what happen but deep in my heart, I want to be with you, always.” Say Rin.

                Even Rin can’t get back her memories, she already begin her new love life with Ryosuke. She doesn’t need to force herself as she already has plenty new memories with everyone. Most importantly, she doesn’t regret to begin brand new love with Ryosuke.
